Application Deadlines
The applications are now open for everyone to apply with the first right of refusal deadline of May 1st for our returning vendors. New vendors that qualify will be placed into the show after the May 1st deadline but please send along your registration form and we will follow up with booth placement.
Booth Sharing
All exhibitors sharing a booth must be members of the Guild. Each individual exhibitor must complete an application and indicate whether they are the PRIMARY or SECONDARY applicant and provide the name of the applicant they wish to share with.
Each exhibitor must fill out a separate application and be accepted in order to be permitted to share a space. The primary applicant is responsible for submitting both the booth fee and their membership fee. The secondary applicant is responsible for submitting only their membership fee.
Eligibility Criteria
Applications are open to makers who produce original handmade goods only. Successful applications are based in part on the following criteria:
- The status of your Guild membership.
- The completeness of your application.
- How your items are represented in your photos.
- The quality of workmanship and overall consistency of your work.
For some categories, such as Jewelry and Bath & Beauty, we receive far more applications than we can accommodate at our show. We do have limits for these highly competitive categories, so the earlier you apply the better.
We welcome applications from outside of Nova Scotia. However, qualitifed Nova Scotia makers will be given priority.
This is only a summary. Please review our detailed Eligibility and Selection Criteria information.
The Dartmouth Handcrafters Guild reserves the right to accept or reject applications at its discretion to balance the style and content of the show for the benefit of all who attend.
Exhibitor Terms and Conditions
Reading and agreeing to our Exhibitor Terms and Conditions is required to complete your application. You must read these before applying.
